Weaving the Dreamtime
Weekend Retreat in the Catskill Mountains of NY
July 11th-13th 2025
“We sleep, but the loom of life never stops. And the pattern which was weaving when the sun went down is weaving when it comes up in the morning.”
— Henry Ward Beecher
Not all journeys require distance—some simply ask that you slow down and listen. Weaving the Dreamtime is a summer weekend retreat nestled by a quiet lake in the Catskill Mountains, where we come together in circle to explore the hidden wisdom of dreams—threads of insight, memory, and spirit waiting to be heard.
Throughout our time together, we’ll journey through ancient and intuitive practices: dream recall and interpretation, guided meditations, shamanic journeys, sacred storytelling, and the crafting of traditional dreamcatchers. These practices serve as gentle invitations to open the space between waking and dreaming, allowing us to tap into the profound insights that lie just beneath the surface.
This retreat offers a sacred space to listen deeply to the messages of your soul. It is in the stillness of nature, in the quiet of the night, that the wisdom you’ve been searching for often speaks the loudest. Here, you’ll find the answers that help you return to yourself—answers that bring clarity, connection, and a deeper understanding of who you truly are.
Join us for a weekend of renewal, reflection, and awakening—where the answers you seek may be waiting just beyond the veil of sleep.
Why the Catskills?
Because the land itself dreams.
The Catskill Mountains have long been a place where people come to reconnect—to the earth, to silence, to the deeper layers of themselves. Just two hours from Muktinath Holistic Center, this landscape offers the perfect container for a retreat rooted in the Dreamtime: expansive yet intimate, wild yet gentle.
Our private lodge sits quietly beside a still lake, deep in the mountains. The lake, with its glassy surface, becomes a natural mirror for the unconscious. It invites us to slow our nervous systems, soften the mind, and slip into the liminal space where dreams, symbols, and spirit begin to speak.
Here, in these most ancient mountains worn down from the passage of time, the boundaries thin. Time stretches. Secrets discovered. The natural rhythms of the mountains—sunlight shifting through trees, nightfall descending with stars—support the kind of deep listening and inner weaving that dreamwork requires.
This is why we gather here. To dream cradled by the nurturing and supportive energy of the Catskills.

Stillness & Serenity Awaits
“Water is a substance that touches all our senses. It calls us. It invites us to dream.”
— from Gaston Bachelard’s Water and Dreams: An Essay on the Imagination of Matter

This retreat is just meant for you - if you are the one who…
feels the dreams tugging at your sleeves, full of symbols you can’t quite name—but knows are meant for you.
longs to slow down and reconnect with something ancient and alive—beneath the surface of your busy life.
doesn’t need to be told what to do next, but wants to listen inward and let your own knowing rise.
wants real connection—not surface small talk, but shared ritual, story, and meaning.
is ready to make something with your hands, sleep beside the water, and gather with others who are also remembering who they are.
If that’s you, you already feel the call. Come dream with us.

Retreat Itinerary
Most of the most magical moments on retreats are the unscheduled and spontaneous gifts directly from spirit. Thus we are not providing a set itinerary. We promise a perfect blend of learning, crafting, relaxing, laughing and of course dreaming. Rest assured you will have an amazing experience in the Catskills.
Here are jus a few of the teachings, practices, and ceremonies that will be a part of this incredible weekend:
Sacred Rest & The Art of Slowness
This is not a retreat of doing—it is a retreat of listening. Rest is honored as a portal to healing and revelation. Everything is designed to slow you down: the rhythm of the day, the meals, the lake, the way the light filters through trees. Slowness is medicine.
Sacred Storytelling
Honoring this land as the ancestral home of the Lenape we will respectfully share stories of the dreamtime and the keepers of the dreams. In the native traditions, the stories are the teachers. We gather not just to tell, but to learn—to listen for the living threads that carry memory, meaning, and connection across time.
Awaken the Wisdom of Dreams
Explore dreams not as random messages but as sacred communications from the soul, ancestors, and the unseen world. Learn how to listen. Build a relationship with your dreams by learning how to track them, speak with them, and bring their messages into daily life.
Dream Recall & Integration
Engage in dream journaling, meditation & shamanic journey to recall, interpret, and deepen your relationship with the dreamworld—recognizing it as a living source of guidance, healing, and truth.
Morning Dream Circles
Share dreams and insights in the safety of circle. Listen not to analyze, but to feel the deeper currents that connect us all.
Listening to the Catskills
Engage in silent walks and solo sits, letting the land speak to you in its own language. Learn how natural symbols and animal messengers reflect dream wisdom.
Threads of the Dreamworld
Dreams don’t speak in straight lines. They reveal themselves like a web—nonlinear, interconnected, shimmering with mystery. In this retreat, we learn to follow the threads to reveal the wisdom we hold inside.
Water as Dreamkeeper
Let the still lake become an ally—symbolizing depth, reflection, and the vast unconscious. Sit with it, dream beside it, and let it hold what you’re not yet ready to name.
Inviting the Dreaming Mind & Lakefront Dream Seeding
Create evening rituals to support conscious dreaming, soft awakening, and integration. Learn how to cultivate a receptive dream state. Gather by the water to set intentions for the dreamtime—planting questions or invitations into the fertile soil of sleep.
The Language of Symbols
Decode the imagery of dreams and waking life through guided exploration, mythic patterning, and intuitive reflection.
The Art of the Dreamcatcher
Weave your own dreamcatcher the traditional way. In the dreamcatcher weaving ceremony, we’re not just making something with our hands—we’re weaving threads of intention into form.
Embers and Echoes
The sacred fire speaks a language similar to dreams- images and subtlety. The fire stirs the unconscious, bringing the memory of dreams forgotten.
“A dream which is not interpreted is like a letter which is not read.”
—The Talmud
