SHAMANIC EXTRACTIONS TRAINING
Part 1: Understanding Soul Intrusion & the Unseen Worlds
The unseen worlds are vast, and learning to navigate them with greater understanding and discernment is an important part of spiritual development. Whether you are a healer, regularly work with Spirit, are sensitive to the energies around you, or are simply curious about what may exist beyond our ordinary perception, this day offers an opportunity to explore these realms from a shamanic perspective.
We will begin with the shamanic understanding of intrusion, simply defined as misplaced energy or energy that does not belong within a person, place or energetic field. Intrusion does not automatically mean something frightening or intentionally harmful. It may be accumulated emotional energy, another person's projected thoughts or emotions, the energetic imprint of an experience, a self-created thought form, an attachment, an earthbound spirit or another form of nonphysical consciousness.
From there, we will move more deeply into the unseen worlds and the many different kinds of energies and beings we may encounter. We will explore how these interactions can occur, why certain experiences or circumstances may leave us more energetically vulnerable, and some of the ways intrusion may be experienced within the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies.
An important focus throughout the day will be discernment. Simply perceiving a spiritual presence does not tell us who or what we are encountering. You will learn practical ways to question what you perceive, recognize differences in frequency and vibration, understand the importance of free will and spiritual sovereignty, and become more confident discerning the energies and beings with which you choose to interact.
Rather than approaching the unseen worlds through fear, we will explore how awareness, a strong connection to the heart, healthy energetic boundaries and informed spiritual practice allow us to interact with these realms with greater clarity.
We will also discuss practical ways to care for and protect your own energy field, recognize when something may not belong, and understand when deeper spiritual healing or assistance from an experienced practitioner may be appropriate.
Offered only once each year typically in October, when the veil between the worlds is thin and our connection with the ancestors is especially strong.
Part One is open to anyone interested in understanding energy, Spirit and the unseen worlds more deeply. You do not need to be a healer or intend to practice shamanic extraction to attend.

Part 2: Shamanic Extraction Training - Essential Skills & Practice
Part Two moves from understanding soul intrusion into the hands-on practice of shamanic extraction, the process of locating and removing misplaced energies, intrusions and attachments from the body and energy field.
Shamanic extraction is not simply a technique. The practitioner enters a shamanic state of consciousness and works in close relationship with helping spirits to perceive what is occurring within the client's field, determine what does not belong and receive guidance about how the healing should proceed. Different intrusions may require very different approaches, making discernment, strong spirit relationships and the ability to remain grounded essential to this work.
You will learn how to scan and assess the energy field, recognize the different ways an intrusion may present itself, and use a variety of traditional and energetic methods for extraction. We will work with the support of power animals and helping spirits, sound, sacred mantra, crystals and other tools, as well as methods for safely releasing and transmuting what has been removed.
We will also explore some of the more complex situations that can arise during extraction, including attachments and earthbound spirits, agreements and energetic bindings, curses and projected energies, and the importance of free will and sovereignty when working with both the client and the beings encountered within the unseen worlds.
Just as important as removing an intrusion is understanding what happens afterward. You will learn how to restore and fill the energetic field following extraction, support the client through integration, recognize when additional shamanic healing may be needed, and help address the underlying vulnerability that allowed the intrusion to take hold.
Throughout the day, we will place strong emphasis on practitioner preparation, protection and self-care, including how to work without taking intrusive energy into your own field, how to recognize when you may need clearing yourself, and when it is appropriate to refer a client to a practitioner with greater experience.
This is an experiential training designed for those who are ready to develop a deeper ability to recognize and work with intrusion, whether within a shamanic healing practice or integrated into another established healing modality.

Completion of Part One is required. Students should also have an established foundation in shamanic journeying and experience working with helping spirits or power animals.
