Join us in the sacred story of how White Buffallo Calf Woman brought the pipe and the ceremonies to the Lakota people of the great plains. The teachings handed down from generation to generation from traditional ceremonial people.
Lessert Moore (enrolled Oglala Sioux member) grew up on the Rosebud and Pine Ridge reservations in South Dakota. He is a Sundance Chief, dedicated to sundance ceremony ways for 45 years. He holds an A.A. degree in drug and alcohol counseling, plus has extensive teaching experience (Aspen Institute, University of Colorado & New Mexico, Omega Institute, UCLA, Sinte Gleska University). In addition, decades of healing work combined with his activism for Native American rights (Wounded Knee 2, Standing Rock) enable Lesert to give deep insight into sacred activism. His lifetime of service across the U.S has been dedicated to mending The Sacred Hoop, helping individuals and communities heal...and the protection of Mother Earth.
