Shamanism 101

What is Shamanism? Is it a religion? What do shamans believe in? How are shamans trained?  How do shamans heal people?  How do shamans communicate with spirit?  What is a shamanic journey?

Have you ever wondered about any of the above questions?  In this workshop all those questions and many more will be answered.

For starters, Shamanism was a part of the original cultures for about the past 30 - 40,000 years. Shamanism is still practiced in many remote regions worldwide today. Aspects of shamanism can still be found in all the world religions in their teachings, ceremonies, and rituals. Shamans act as the intermediaries or messengers between the human world and the spirit worlds. Shamans are said to treat illness by healing the soul. The release of traumas affecting the soul restores the physical body to balance. The shaman enters 'the other worlds' to find solutions to problems both individually and collectively.

Interested?  Come and learn more about Shamanism.  In this evening you will also learn how to perform your own shamanic journey into the other worlds.
